Job Description
We currently seek a high caliber Pressure Vessel Equipment Engineer for
a direct hire/contract posting within our client?s team of experienced
professionals. Based in Mt. Laurel, NJ, you will be working for one of
the world?s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to
the Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals sector. Job Description: ? Preparing vessel
and tank calculations ? Interfacing with discipline counterparts, construction,
vendors and clients ? Producing specifications and mechanical data sheets
for vessels ? Incorporating design modifications ? Reviewing specifications,
evaluations and supplier documents for process & utility pressure vessel
packages ? Preparing bid analysis and technical recommendations for purchases
? Developing and maintaining equipment lists ? Performing/assisting with
equipment inspections and testing ? Assisting with installation and startup
support as required ? Responsible for understanding the entire Code of
Conduct and complying with its requirements ? Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Job Requirements: ? BS in Mechanical Engineering ? With 10-20 years experience
of design & fabrication on large scale projects within the oil, gas and/or
petrochemical industries with an EPC firm ? Familiar with related industrial
codes including ASME B&PV, API, ANSI, ISO, OSHA and building codes relating
to equipment mechanical design ? Proficient with vessel & tank design software
including Compress and Etank ? Familiar with other related technologies
