Sports Endeavors Purchasing Drop - Ship Intern Job Overview

The Purchasing Intern will be responsible for assisting the Merchandising Department of Sports Endeavors, Inc. with reports that will allow better merchandising and inventory analysis. 

• Will use VendorNet tool to create reports of orders not shipped within an expected time frame and will use those reports to follow up with the vendors. 
• Will follow up on orders that were cancelled in zircon but shipped from the vendor, and update orders that have split shipments. 
• Will follow up with vendors about items not in stock, back orders and place them on a callback list. 

Requirements:

• Must know how to use Excel, Outlook and Word 
• Candidates should be currently enrolled in college and be able to receive course credit for the internship as the internship is unpaid. 
• Must have excellent communication skills and pleasant telephone voice are essential 
• Assist with the reporting process 
• Help obtain product Information from vendors
